San Francisco Javier
The capital of the island is a pleasant village where every morning the hippy market will take place. The typical 18th century church is the centre of this village with many boutiques and terraces.
Cap de Berbería
A beautiful nature reserve that is easily to reach by bike. You have the illusion to be at the end of the world at the lighthouse which rises above the steep rocks.
Es Pujolls
The centre for entertainment of the island with terraces and restaurants. Every evening there is a little hippy market on the boulevard and in the boutiques you will find nice clothes for the summer.
Las Salinas
The salt lakes between the port La Sabina and the village Es Pujolls lies in the middle of the nature reserve that borders on the different sandy beaches. The beaches Illetas and Tanga come together on a peninsula with on both sides the Mediterranean.
San Fernando
Centrally situated village where you can find a lively atmosphere at night. On the wall of the famous restaurant Fonda Pepe people of the whole island come together after the sunset.
La Mola
The only mountain of Formentera where you have a panoramic view of most of the island. On top of it lies the village El Pilar with a renovated windmill. La Mola lighthouse stands on top of a steep rock and gives the most beautiful light of the Mediterranean. Jules Verne, the great French writer found here his inspiration for one of his novels.
Es Caló
A typical fishing village with some good fish restaurants. Here you can find the typical sheds for the fishermen boats with their wooden inclines to lift the boats into the water. From the terrace of Fonda Rafalet you have a beautiful view over the coast of Formentera and the island Ibiza. On walking distance of the village lies a little sandy beach.
